Pre-facial prep:
You do not need to prepare your skin for the treatment although you will get better results if you use AHAs and or retinol for a few weeks before your treatment. We recommend you stop all AHA's, BHAs and retinol products for 3 days before and 3 days after the peel. It is not advised to have done if you are sunburnt as your skin will be too sensitive.

After treatment:
There is no downtime, even though the peel contains 35% TCA! The treatment is quick and delivers instant results with no frosting effect and no visible traces of the procedure. After treatment, the skin feels soft, refreshed and revitalised.
Recovery time is minimal, with little to no downtime, and patients may experience mild redness and swelling that usually resolves within a few hours. Results are noticeable immediately and continue to improve over time, but additional treatments may be necessary to maintain them.
After a BioRePeel treatment, your skin may be more sensitive than usual. Avoid using skincare products with high concentrations of retinol, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid, for a few days.
TCA peels with 10–15% concentrations (light) can treat skin issues like hyperpigmentation, while peels with a 20% concentration can treat sun-damaged and aging skin or skin with minor scarring. A peel with a concentration of 30–35% treats deep wrinkles, more severe scars, and precancerous skin lesions.
Who are medium-depth chemical peels good for?
Medium-depth chemical peels are effective on all skin types and tones. A more aggressive treatment than superficial chemical peels, they are used to improve the appearance of uneven skin, fine lines, acne scarring and sun damaged skin.
Medium-depth chemical peels can be used the face, neck and most places of the body, but are most commonly used on the face and backs of hands.

Medium (TCA) chemical peels are known for delivering long-lasting results after a brief healing process.
TCA chemical peels are ideally suited to patients wishing to address wrinkles, superficial blemishes and scars, uneven pigmentation (including sunspots), and dark undereye circles.
Because TCA peels deliver results beyond those achieved by a light chemical peel, and don’t have the long healing time of a deep (phenol) peel, they are an excellent middle-of-the-road approach to common skin conditions and imperfections.
